It’s the time of year we’ve all been waiting for, the school holidays! It’s time to unwind and treat yourself to a bit of relaxation over the half term break. Here are my favourite ways to unwind that I hope you’ll enjoy.
Muscles hold stress and a massage is a great way to relieve this tension and unknot tight muscles. You’re guaranteed to feel super relaxed afterwards and ready to enjoy your break!
Spend Quality Time With Friends
If school work has been taking up a lot of your spare time recently, it’s time to enjoy yourself and spend good quality time with friends. Go for celebratory end of term drinks, try new restaurants for delicious food and let your hair down while you’ve got the chance!
Have A Bath
Treat yourself to a nice relaxing hot bath. Light some candles, listen to some relaxing music and soak your troubles away!
Yoga and Meditation
Try breathing exercises, meditation and yoga to help relax your body and mind. A few yoga exercises practiced daily will help to release tension in your body. Practicing breathing exercises before you sleep will make a huge difference and ensure you get a good night’s rest.
You’ve probably spent the last few months surviving off a few hours sleep a night, now you can finally relax and catch up on much needed rest.
